Day 1

Fly-in from Zanzibar to Tarangire

Fly-in from Zanzibar to Tarangire

Program: Have an early morning pick-up from your hotel, and be transferred to Arusha airport and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Once the game drive is over, we drive back to the lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and our overnight stay.

Program: After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes.

This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa: with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Day 3

Makuyuni Wildlife Park

Makuyuni Wildlife Park

Located within the Tarangire-Manyara Ecosystem, the park covers an area of 49 square kilometers and is located 70 kilometers from Arusha City at the Arusha-Babati, Makuyuni –Karatu, highway junction.
Wildlife species available in this area include elephant, Masai giraffe, buffalo, oryx, wildebeest, lesser and greater kudu, African wild dog, lion, zebra, and impala. Upon your arrival at the main entrance gate, you will be guided by an armed ranger and begin your walking tour around the park. After 2 hours of walking around and viewing animals at a close range, you will head to a picnic site for lunch, and later depart to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
