Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa

Touch down at Entebbe International Airport, and our guide driver will be on hand to receive you. After a brief overview of what you should expect on this 3 days trip, journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. While at Ziwa, you will be faced with the most endangered Big Five animal, the rhino.
A walk side by side with these incredible mammals on a rhino tracking experience will open your eyes to why they need to be protected, as their epic appearance is a danger to themselves, unfortunately. Vehicles are not allowed in the sanctuary to protect the rhinos’ natural habitat by keeping it as natural as possible. This means that you can track these amazing species on foot, thus adding to your adventure. Head out of the sanctuary for Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover for lunch. As dusk unveils its glamour, you will be checking into your booked lodge in the park for dinner and rest.

Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo and departure

Rise with the sun for a hefty breakfast before heading south of the park to Budongo Forest in time for a pre-trekking briefing of the chimpanzee permits. Murchison Falls National Park does not seem to stop amazing its visitors, on top of being a savannah park, it is also home to a tropical rainforest.
This Budongo Forest hosts about 600 chimpanzees, therefore, after your briefing and grouping into groups of 8 people, you will track these primates in their natural Budongo habitat. As quietly as possible, you will slowly flow their chants, and the experienced ranger guide will track their movements, and before you know it, you will be in their presence. There and then the clock will start ticking, and in an hour in the chimpanzees’ presence taking pictures as they go by with their chores, will head out of the forest. Your guide driver will be waiting to transport you back to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, check out and depart.
