Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport - Drive to Serengeti National Park for Game Drive

After an early breakfast or upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you depart from Arusha toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The journey is long but very scenic and comfortable, with steady driving and planned stops for rest and views. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and pause at the crater rim, where a wide and beautiful view opens before you, often a highlight for first-time visitors.

As you continue into the Serengeti, the land begins to stretch endlessly. The name means “endless plains”, and you will clearly see why. This vast park is home to the great migration, with millions of wildebeest, zebras, and many antelopes. It is also one of the best places to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas in their natural habitat.

After a quality and enjoyable game drive, in the late evening, you will proceed to Mbuni Serengeti Camp, an amazing and very comfortable camp located in Central Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

You will wake up very early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to see animals when they are most active. After a light breakfast, you head into the Serengeti as the sun rises, painting the sky with warm colors. The morning light brings the savannah to life, and you may see lions, leopards, and other predators beginning their day.

Later, you enjoy a picnic lunch on a small hill, with wide views across the open plains. It is a calm and special moment in the wild. In the afternoon, you continue your game drive, watching many animals move across this famous landscape.

By late afternoon, you drive safely toward Mbuni Camp, where you will arrive for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport

You will start the day very early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a beautiful morning game drive. This unique place is rich in wildlife, and the calm morning hours offer a great chance to see many animals in a short time.

After the drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch near the peaceful Hippo Lake, surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, there will be a short game drive before you ascend the crater with steady and safe driving.

You will then continue back to Arusha, arriving around 5:00 pm. The timing remains flexible to suit your flight or any special plans.
