Kilimanjaro International Airport to Karatu

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, Our tour guide driver will pick up you and drive to Karatu by 4x4 jeep for your overnight stay waiting for your safari on the following day.

If you have time we can stop and visit local markets on the road and Karatu village. Otherwise, you can relax at the lodge.

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Program: After breakfast, you will leave Karatu and drive to Serengeti National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch box. You will enjoy a game drive en route through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Serengeti is over 6,000 square miles of sprawling, unspoiled landscape. Add to that an extraordinary population of resident and migratory animals in a constant bid for survival, and you understand why this is often called, "the world as it was in the beginning." As soon as you enter the park, wildlife viewing begins. Search for leopard and lion. Watching herbivores like zebra, wildebeest, and elephant simply appears from amidst the woodlands and plains.

After the game drives, we'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Guided Game Drive

Ngorongoro conservation area is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. And is often called “Africa's Eden” and the eighth Natural Wonder of the World'. A visit to the crater is a main attraction for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater's ridge, the Nomadic society (Masaai) herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes.
