Central Serengeti National Park

Rising with the sun, you set out on a full day Serengeti game drive across an endless sea of golden grass, where predator and prey stage nature’s greatest dramas, herds of wildebeest and zebra thundering across the plains, stealthy lions lounging in the shade, cheetahs crouched on termite mounds, and elegant elands and gazelles grazing beneath scattered acacias.

Your experienced guide reads the land and follows tracks to the most active areas, pausing for a bush breakfast and later a picnic lunch under an umbrella tree while vultures wheel overhead. Between sightings you stop at panoramic viewpoints to drink in the vast horizon and photograph the extraordinary light, then continue into quieter kopjes and riverine corridors where hippos, crocodiles and flocks of birds bring the ecosystem to life.

As evening falls the sky melts into deep oranges and purples, predators become bolder and the day’s final sightings feel like a private performance you return to camp.
