Day 1

Start your day with a scenic drive from Arusha or Moshi to Materuni Village, nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, a local guide will lead you on a nature walk through the lush greenery to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall — one of the tallest in the area, surrounded by tropical vegetation.

After enjoying the view and fresh air at the falls, return to the village for an authentic Chagga coffee experience. You'll learn how to prepare coffee from bean to cup, participate in traditional singing and dancing, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup.

A local lunch will be served, often featuring Chagga dishes. After some relaxation and cultural interaction, you’ll head back to your town, ending a refreshing and memorable day.
