Arrival at Kigali international airport/Depending on your location in Kigali. Meet your safari guide and head to Nyungwe national park. This is about 6-7 hours' drive arriving Nyungwe in the late afternoon with en-route lunch. You will also stop at the Nyanza' King's palace and museum for sightseeing. Upon arrival, check-in at your booked accommodation.

On this second and last day of your trip, enjoy your early morning breakfast then meet your guide to connect to the park head office to meet your ranger and also receive a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3-5 hours. On finding them, you are allowed an hour to spend with them while taking pictures and videos.
Immediately after trekking, connect to Uwinka visitor center to start your canopy walk experience. This will take about 2-3 hours, after which meet your driver and embark on your drive back to Kigali. Your Safari guide will either drop you at a location your will advise.
