Your journey begins in the morning with a transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park. As the aircraft climbs over the landscape, you'll enjoy stunning aerial views of the Great Rift Valley, volcanic highlands, and the endless plains below. After about an hour in the air, you’ll land at one of the Serengeti’s bush airstrips, where your professional safari guide will be waiting to greet you.

From the airstrip, you’ll enjoy a scenic game drive on your way to your lodge or tented camp, offering your first glimpse of Serengeti’s remarkable wildlife—herds of zebra and wildebeest, elephants roaming through the acacias, and possibly even a pride of lions lounging in the grass. After settling into your accommodation, you’ll have time to relax before heading out again for an afternoon safari. As the sun sets over the savannah, you’ll return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Today is dedicated to a full day of game viewing in one of the world’s most iconic wildlife regions. After an early breakfast, you’ll set off to explore deeper into the park, with either a picnic lunch enjoyed in a scenic location or a return to camp for a midday break. Your guide will plan the day based on seasonal animal movements, offering you the chance to follow the Great Migration if it’s nearby, or to seek out the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

The Serengeti’s diversity of habitats offers a rich variety of wildlife encounters, from river crossings filled with crocodiles to rocky kopjes where cheetahs and lions may be found resting. As the afternoon fades, you’ll return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening, delicious dinner, and another peaceful night in the heart of the bush.

Arusha/Kilimanjaro

You may choose to begin your final day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler hours when predators are most active. Afterward, return to camp for breakfast, followed by checkout and a drive back to the airstrip.

Your flight back to Arusha offers one last chance to take in the vast, unspoiled beauty of northern Tanzania from above. Upon landing, a transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Arusha or onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or next destination.
