After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will meet you for a full-day excursion to Arusha National Park. The park offers a scenic mix of ecosystems—from the dense forest of Mount Meru’s lower slopes to the open grasslands around the Momella Lakes. You may spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and the striking black-and-white colobus monkey. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and, if you choose, take a short guided nature walk for a more intimate view of the area. In the late afternoon, return to your Arusha lodge for dinner and overnight.

Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately two hours away. Begin your game drive upon arrival, exploring this beautiful park famous for its large elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal river that draws huge numbers of animals during the dry months. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, impalas, and a variety of birdlife. After a picnic or hot lunch (depending on your lodge), continue wildlife viewing until late afternoon. Start early and leave Tarangire for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim mid-morning. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari in one of the most unique wildlife destinations on earth. This vast, unbroken caldera is home to an extraordinary concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, hippos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, continue exploring before ascending the crater walls late afternoon. You’ll then drive a short distance to Karatu town, where you’ll check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
