The drama intensifies as wildebeest gather near rivers, hesitant but pressured by the masses to cross—often under threat from crocodiles. Witnessing a crossing is rare and thrilling. The crater hosts an incredible density of wildlife, including black rhino, lions, buffalo, elephants, and large flocks of flamingos on Lake Magadi.
