Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with a warm welcome and pick-up from either your accommodation in Arusha or the airport. From there, you’ll begin a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, carrying picnic lunch boxes for the journey.

Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and varied landscapes ranging from savannahs to seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, draws countless wildlife, offering excellent chances to spot predators such as lions and leopards. Northern Serengeti is the prime location to witness the dramatic Mara River crossings—an unforgettable highlight of the Great Migration. This area is teeming with wildlife and offers excellent chances to see massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as crocodiles lurking in the river and predators on the prowl. By late afternoon, arrive at your camp for dinner and a peaceful night in the wilderness.

After an early breakfast, depart Central Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a final, unforgettable game drive with a packed lunch.

The crater floor is teeming with wildlife—expect sightings of lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, and diverse birdlife. After exploring the crater, begin your journey back to Arusha, with drop-off at either your accommodation, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward destination.
