Transfer to Kibale National Park

The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kampala to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. Along the way, the journey passes through beautiful tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural landscapes that offer a glimpse into local life. A stopover in Fort Portal provides an opportunity for lunch before proceeding to the lodge near Kibale. Upon arrival, check in at the reserved lodge and spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the chimp habituation experience the following day.

Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

An early breakfast is followed by a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on the chimpanzee tracking process, this experience gives you time to stay with chimpanzee in the forest, accompanied by tour rangers and trackers. The experience provides invaluable insight into the life of these fascinating primates. After sometime in the forest, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Transfer Back to Kampala

After breakfast, depart from Kibale and begin the return journey to Kampala. The drive offers one last chance to enjoy Uganda’s picturesque scenery, with a stopover for lunch. Arriving in the evening marks the end of the adventure, leaving lasting memories of the chimpanzee experience.
