On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide driver who will take you to exchange some money in local currency, he will brief you about the six days safari and then drive to the hotel for an overnight stay as you will see the beautiful Kigali town.

A City Tour with a Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After your breakfast, you will start your Kigali City Tour with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Later, you will be transferred to Nyungwe National Park, the home of chimpanzees. The journey south west passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda’s landscape. In the afternoon, enjoy a canopy walk adventure in Nyungwe National Park. Visit and enjoy the property amenities.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Trekking and Tea Plantation visits
On this day, you will enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a thrilling hike in search of chimpanzee communities. The Rwandan chimpanzee population is thought to consist of approximately 400-500 individuals, confined to the Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo Forest. Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their pant-hoots travel through the deep forest. During your hike, you may also spot migratory bird life including the Ross’ turaco, grey-cheeked horn bill, red-breasted sparrow, hawk and regal sun bird. Later proceed with tea plantation experiences around the park. After these experiences, transfer to the shore of Lake Kivu.

After breakfast, you will start your morning boat cruise exploring different islands located on the lake. On this day, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park. On your way have a stopover and enjoy the Rwanda coffee experiences at Kopakiki Cooperative. On arrival, spend your time at leisure enjoying property amenities at the lodge.

Volcanoes National Park + Golden Monkey Trekking, Cultural Experiences
On this special day, you will have the rare opportunity to observe the famous golden monkeys. You will depart for golden monkeys trekking to observe the famous Rwandan monkeys in the Volcanoes National Park. Spend an hour with them, and be back at the base in time for lunch. Upon arrival at the lodge for lunch, enjoy lunch at the hotel or in a local restaurant in Musanze city with an afternoon cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardians formerly Ibyiwacu Cultural Village. You'll later have a transfer back to Kigali for your night life experience.
