After breakfast in Arusha, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge at Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five. Spend the day exploring this wildlife-packed volcanic caldera, spotting black rhinos, lions, elephants, and flocks of flamingos around the soda lake. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater rim and return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
