Today, your safari adventure begins! We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive, you will enjoy the view of the beautiful nature, landscapes, and local communities. You’ll do a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, you'll go to fig treeLodge for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater is considered one of the Wonders of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations on the continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.
You will start the day very early with a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After a fantastic afternoon game drive, you'll ascend the crater and transfer to Ngare Lodge for the night.

Lake Manyara National Park

Your day begins with an early pickup for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Though small, the park is rich in wildlife and scenery, with acacia forests, fig trees, baboons, elephants, giraffes, and hippos. Look out for tree-climbing lions and lakeside flamingos. Optional activities like bike or boat tours are available. After the adventure, return to Arusha.
