This trip from Nungwi to Mnemba begins with a dolphin tour, followed by snorkeling at Mnemba Reef. Depending on the tide, we may also visit the sandbank, which can be fully submerged during high tide.

It is renowned for its exceptionally clear waters (for this side of the Indian Ocean) and the rich diversity of corals and tropical marine life. You’ll also have the opportunity to climb an ancient baobab tree for spectacular views of the island. After this memorable experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

The tour includes a visit to Prison Island, where you’ll see the famous giant tortoises and explore the island’s historical sites. Afterward, you'll head by boat to Nakupenda Beach for a relaxing time sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying a seafood lunch accompanied by freshly prepared tropical fruits. After this wonderful experience, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s narrow, winding streets on foot, allowing you to immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere. Highlights include colonial-era landmarks, the Old Fort, the house where Freddie Mercury was born, and the Anglican Cathedral built on the site of a former slave market. Along the way, you’ll learn about the island’s rich spice trade history and cultural heritage. After this memorable experience, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure home.
