Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel. Once at your accommodation, you can relax and unwind after your journey. If time allows, you may take a short tour of Arusha or visit local markets and cultural sites. This day is meant to help you settle in and prepare for the exciting safari days ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, a drive of approximately 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive through a landscape dotted with towering baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River, which acts as a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants, as well as its resident lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your game viewing in the afternoon. As the sun begins to set, you’ll exit the park and head to your accommodation near Tarangire, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Today, you’ll depart early for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way. This journey offers stunning views of highlands, forests, and traditional Maasai villages. You’ll enter Serengeti by early afternoon and begin a thrilling game drive across its vast plains. The Serengeti is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world, famous for the annual Great Migration and its large populations of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. After a full afternoon of exploring, you’ll head to your accommodation deep in the park, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 4

You will spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you’ll head out on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the "Big Five" and many other animals that roam the park’s diverse habitats. Your guide will take you to areas known for predator sightings and possibly follow herds of migrating wildebeest and zebras, depending on the season. With its vast open plains, rocky outcrops (kopjes), and river valleys, the Serengeti offers a truly unforgettable safari experience. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot or return to camp for a hot meal before continuing your game drive. In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and a second night in the heart of the Serengeti.

On your final day, you’ll have an early breakfast and depart the Serengeti to head toward the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the natural wonders of the world. Once you reach the crater rim, you’ll descend into the caldera for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, prides of lions, large herds of buffalo, and hippos wallowing in the lakes. The enclosed ecosystem of the crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. After a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
