You'll begin your journey with an early morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop at the Uganda Equator for memorable photos and a brief demonstration of the Coriolis effect. You'll continue your drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside, passing picturesque rolling hills, banana plantations, and traditional villages. You'll set out early for an exciting morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park, when wildlife is most active. As you explore the vast savannah, you'll have excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and a variety of bird species, with the early hours offering the best opportunity to see predators on the move. After the drive, you'll return to the lodge for a late breakfast and time to relax. You'll begin your day with an early breakfast before heading to Kyambura Gorge for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. You'll descend into the lush "Valley of Apes" to track wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat, with opportunities to spot monkeys, colorful birds, and other forest wildlife. After the trek, you'll return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy an early lunch. After an early breakfast, you'll begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Following a safety briefing, you'll venture into the misty rainforest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Depending on their location, the trek may take 2–6 hours through dense forest rich in birdlife and unique flora. Once you find the gorillas, you'll spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, you'll enjoy either a packed lunch or return to the lodge for a freshly prepared meal. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience, learning about their traditional forest lifestyle, music, dance, and customs before returning to the lodge for a relaxing evening.
