Afterward, drive through the rolling hills of western Uganda toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy sweeping views of the savannah. Day 2

Start your day with an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area rich in wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, and warthogs. After breakfast back at the lodge, spend time relaxing before heading to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise. This 2-hour journey offers incredible sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and an evening at leisure, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and head south toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of terraced hills and rural villages. Lunch is served en route. Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

Rise early for a briefing at the Bwindi park headquarters before beginning your gorilla trekking experience. Hike through thick forest terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family, a journey that can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, enjoy lunch and then transfer to the tranquil shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Check in at your lakeside lodge and unwind with views of the islands, optional canoe rides, or a refreshing swim.

Along the way, enjoy the vibrant roadside markets and stunning highland scenery. Arrive in Kampala in the evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport.
