1. Royal Enclosure (Fasil Ghebbi)
• Start your day at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Royal Enclosure.
• Explore the 17th-century castles and palaces built by Emperor Fasilides and his successors.
• Highlights include:
o Fasilides' Castle
o Iyasu's Palace
o Dawit’s Hall
o The Archive and Library
2. Debre Berhan Selassie Church
• A short drive or walk from the Royal Enclosure.
• Famous for its stunning ceiling of winged angel faces.
• A rare church that survived Mahdist attacks in the 19th century.

• Enjoy traditional Ethiopian cuisine with a view, if dining at Goha Hotel.

3. Fasilides Bath
• Visit the ceremonial bath of Emperor Fasilides, set in a peaceful grove.
• Still used for the annual Timket (Epiphany) celebration.
4. Kuskuam Complex
• Located on a hill outside the city center.
• See the ruins of Empress Mentewab’s palace, church, and museum.
• Great panoramic views over Gondar.
