Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your journey to Masai Mara will begin at 7:00 a.m. (pickup location—Nairobi hotel), with brief stops at the Rift Valley Viewpoint and Narok along the way. You will arrive at the camp/lodge in the afternoon and check in for lunch. At 4:00 p.m., you will begin on your exciting first game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is widely regarded as one of East Africa's top safari destinations. Following this, you will return to the resort in the evening, just in time for dinner. You'll gather around a bonfire and listen to captivating Maasai stories.

Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be spent observing wildlife at Kenya's premier wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your full-day game drives will take you in search of Africa's Big Five and other creatures that inhabit this vast Kenyan game reserve. As you explore the enormous Masai Mara, you'll come across a variety of creatures, including Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. It is also usual to see lions lazing in the sun after a large meal or searching the plains for their next meal. While cheetahs and leopards are more elusive, they remain very frequent.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After an optional visit of Masai Village, you will depart your safari lodge or camp at 10:00 a.m. then return to busy Nairobi, arriving at 4:30 p.m. When you return to Nairobi, your incredible three-day Masai Mara safari comes to an end. You will be dropped off at either the airport or the hotel.
