Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the most unique safari experiences on Earth. Descend into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera for a half-day game drive across its lush, wildlife-dense floor.

This natural enclosure hosts nearly every major species in East Africa, including lions, buffalo, zebras, and the rare black rhino. With luck, you might spot all of the Big Five in a single morning.

After an exciting safari, return to Karatu for a relaxed evening at your lodge.

Tarangire Nationa Park to Arusha

Depart after breakfast for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds and baobab-dotted landscapes. Spot giraffes, zebras, lions, and more along the Tarangire River.
