Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

The compact game-viewing circuit through Lake Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.

After the day's game drive, we will drive to Ngedere Lodge & Camps for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park
Best Time To Visit June to October (Easier to spot animals)

Serengeti National Park Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will make your way to Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive and picnic lunch later in the afternoon. A million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill their instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life here. They participate in a frenzied 3-week bout of territorial conquests and mating, as well as a survival of the fittest as they plunge in 40-kilometer-long (25 miles) columns through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north. After a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily, the 1,000-kilometer pilgrimage (600 miles) begins again.

After the game drive, we will drive you to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
