Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2.5-hour drive from Arusha. Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, with excellent chances to encounter large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and a variety of antelopes roaming the open savannah. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the park before continuing your exploration along the Tarangire River and among the park’s iconic baobab trees. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, zebras, and vibrant birdlife in this wildlife-rich haven.

Drive to Central Serengeti

After breakfast at the lodge, you’ll depart early for Central Serengeti, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This full-day journey, lasting around 6 to 7 hours, offers game viewing opportunities along the way as you pass through highland forests and open plains. By early afternoon, you’ll enter Serengeti National Park and begin your first game drive en route to the Seronera Valley, a region known for its year-round wildlife activity. As you traverse the vast savannah and granite kopjes, keep an eye out for lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other iconic species. In the evening, arrive at your tented camp for dinner and a restful night under the stars.
