This morning, we leave the lodge and drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. After descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder teeming with wildlife, you will drive through open grasslands, acacia forests, and swamps where lions, elephants, buffalos, and the rare black rhinos live. See flamingos at Lake Magadi and spot hippos in the pools. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can see the Big Five in one day. After the visit of the crater our journey takes us through the wild beauty of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Maasai and teeming with natural splendor.
