You will arrive just in time for lunch followed by an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your camp or lodge.

Day 2-3

After breakfast, you will set out for a full day game drive with packed lunch. You will head out for an early morning game drive in Masai Mara then cross the boarder to Serengeti National Park after a few formalities. The drive from Masai Mara to the Serengeti offers a scenic and enriching journey through the heart of East Africa. Along the way, travelers can enjoy sweeping savannah landscapes, spot free-roaming wildlife like zebras and giraffes, and pass through traditional Maasai villages. The route includes a cultural experience at the Isebania border crossing, with views of rural life and changing ecosystems. Though long, the drive is a seamless transition between two of Africa’s greatest safari parks, filled with breathtaking scenery and authentic moments.

Day 5-6

Spend two unforgettable days exploring the vast Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Each day begins early, as you set out at sunrise to catch the animals at their most active. Your experienced guide will take you deep into the park’s different regions—from the endless central plains to riverine forests and rocky outcrops known as kopjes. You’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration, with river crossings or calving events. Enjoy picnic lunches in designated scenic spots and spend afternoons continuing the game drive or relaxing at the lodge before a late afternoon drive as the sun sets over the plains. These two full days provide deep immersion into the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife, making it the heart of any East African safari.

Day 7

You will set out early to have an early morning game drive and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After the game drive, we will return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we'll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. You will stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site known as the Cradle of Mankind. As you approach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the terrain changes from open savannah to highland forest, with cooler air and panoramic views. You’ll arrive at the crater rim, where many lodges are perched, offering breathtaking views into the vast volcanic caldera below home to an estimated 25,000 animals. The transition from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro combines exceptional wildlife, dramatic landscapes, and fascinating human history, making it a highlight of any northern Tanzania safari.

Day 8

We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on earth. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. We expect to be back in Arusha around 5:00 pm although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation.
