Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

After morning breakfast, you will drive to the Murchison Falls National Park with along the way. After lunch you will proceed with park entry. You will enjoy the different flora and fauna plus some wildlife and birds as you drive heading to the top of the falls where the park derives its name which is the top highlight for the day. Afterwards you will proceed to your Lodge.

At the heart of the park is Murchison Falls, one of Africa’s most powerful waterfalls. Here, the mighty Victoria Nile is forced through a narrow 8-meter-wide gorge, before plunging 45 meters into the Devil’s Cauldron below, sending up a thunderous roar and a permanent rainbow mist. This breathtaking natural wonder marks the final act in an 80km stretch of rapids, after which the river calms into a broad, tranquil flow as it meanders toward Lake Albert.

Game Drive in Murchison Falls

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, through the beautiful open savannah and Borassus palm Forest and grassland downward to the hippo’s pool in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalos, Elephants, Jackson Hartebeest, Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, you will also encounter numerous bird’s species for example Red Bishop, Abyssinian ground Horn bill, African Fish eagle, Palmnut vulture and many others.

In the afternoon after lunch, you will have an option for going for an afternoon game drive or have a relaxed afternoon at your lodge.

Boat Cruise along Nile Delta

Early morning the boat will take us downstream to the delta. The place where the Nile enters Lake Albert. This trip of 5-6 hours will show us all the beauty of this national park especially the delta with all the different birds. Here is a good chance to see the elusive Shoebill stork! In the afternoon is a visit to the top of the Falls, a wonderful view.

Ziwa Rhino sanctuary / Entebbe

After breakfast, you will have your last game drive as you drive heading out of the park heading to Kampala or Entebbe. You will stop at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is where you can see the white rhinos as they are being reintroduced back to the wild in Uganda.

Afterwards, you will have lunch and later proceed to your Hotel or Entebbe international Airport.
