if you reach volcanoes in time, visit Dian Fossey Museum and overnight and relaxation at Da Vinci lodge.

Day 2

Today, wake up very early for morning breakfast, park a snack/lunch, your guide will drive you to the park's headquarters for briefing, hiring porters, and group allocations. You will be given a gorilla family to trek along with other visitors. When you meet gorillas, spend 1 hour observing their grooming behaviors in the natural habitat, trekking takes about 2 to 6 hours in the jungle of volcanoes national park.

After this thriving activity, visit Dian Fossey Gorilla fund and witness her conservation efforts and gorilla awareness, later after relaxations at the lodge, journey to gorilla guardian village, listen to their stories, participate in their cultural ceremonies, enjoy folk songs and dance their traditional music.

Today, enjoy a morning city tour by visiting Kigali genocide site and nyamirambo women's center for community engagements like waking baskets, sewing and preparing local dishes. Enjoy a local dish at lunch time in nyamirambo and proceed to home of big five.

Upon arrival at the park, check in, dinner and relaxation at the lodge as you prepare for a night game drive. Being the only savannah national park in Rwanda, and with a stunning view, Akagera is the most interesting while on game drives that visitors get a chance to see wild animals like white and black rhinos, hyenas, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and zebras. Species of antelope include impala, cape eland, roan, Topis, duikers, klipspringers, waterbucks, bushbucks, and oribis. Primate enthusiasts should expect to see olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and nocturnal bush babies.

Today early morning after breakfast, embark on your journey to the savannah plains and search for big five. Being the only savannah national park in Rwanda, and with a stunning view, Akagera is the most interesting while on morning game drives that visitors get a chance to see wild animals like white and black rhinos, hyenas, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and zebras. after this thrilling adventure, join the boat trip on lake Ihema and witness wildlife on the other angle, crocodiles lying on the shores of the lake, buffaloes wallowing in water and a lot of other animals drinking water on the shores of the lake. Later have lunch and journey back to Kigali international airport or to your hotel. End.
