You'll start the day with an early breakfast before heading to the briefing point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here, you'll be verified after which you will receive valuable insights into your mountain gorilla trekking adventure and get ready to venture into the forest. Remember to pack essentials like water and lunch, and consider hiring a porter for $20 to help with your gear and navigating challenging terrain. After the briefing, you'll be divided into small groups and guided by a park ranger into the forest, where you'll spend an hour with the majestic mountain gorillas. Don't forget to bring rain gear, as the forest's climate can be unpredictable. Following the trek, you'll head to the serene Lake Bunyonyi, where you can unwind with a swim or take a leisurely canoe ride, enjoying the stunning scenery and local culture.
