1-Day Chimpanzee Safari on Ngamba Island

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Shortly after breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your residence for an exclusive safari to Ngamba Island. The boat used as a means of transportation to the island takes approximately 50 to 90 minutes by motorized canoe. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and receive a brief introduction covering the island’s history, its conservation mission, and the chimpanzees that call it home.
After the briefing, you’ll embark on a professionally guided tour through the sanctuary, where you'll observe the rescued chimpanzees as they forage, interact, and use tools showcasing their remarkable intelligence and social behaviors. As midday approaches, you’ll depart the island and return to Kampala, concluding your unique wildlife experience.
