Day 1

Johannesburg to Greater Kruger

Start your adventure with a convenient pickup between 6:30 and 6:45 am from various lodges and hotels within a 5-kilometre radius of OR Tambo International Airport. You'll then transfer to the shuttle and bus terminal, departing promptly at 7:15 am.

Then there is a direct road transfer to Hazyview, we'll arrive between 11:30 am and 12:00 pm. There is time to relax, unpack, and enjoy a light lunch. You might want to have a refreshing swim or explore the picturesque lodge and walking trails on the same property.

At approximately 3:45 pm, we'll head out for a thrilling sunset/night safari in Kruger National Park, returning to the lodge around 8:00 pm for a delicious dinner and a restful night's sleep.

Day 2

Today promises to be an exhilarating full-day safari in Kruger National Park, starting before sunrise—the perfect time to spot elusive predators as they prowl the dawn-lit landscape. Your experienced guide will navigate through various eco zones, each teeming with a unique array of wildlife. After about three hours of exploration, enjoy a stop for a packed breakfast and a refreshing coffee break. As your safari continues, you'll traverse diverse terrains, from open plains and Bushveld to the vibrant life around rivers and watering holes. After a leisurely lunch at a rest camp (expenses are your own), take the opportunity to browse the curio shops for unique souvenirs.

Your guide will then lead you back to the lodge between 3:30 and 4:00 pm, where you can relax and enjoy a delightful dinner, reflecting on the day's adventures.

Day 3

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, your guide will pick you up at 8 am to start a breathtaking journey along the Panorama Route. Your day begins with a scenic ascent into the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. The first stop is God’s Window, offering sweeping views from a 1,000-metre cliff—on clear days, you can see all the way to Kruger and beyond! The short trail through a lush rainforest to the viewpoint is well worth the 15–20-minute walk. Next, marvel at the remarkable Bourke’s Luck Potholes for about an hour. The panoramic journey continues to the awe-inspiring Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third-largest canyon, stretching over 40 kilometres with dramatic cliffs and abundant vegetation—don’t miss the iconic Three Rondavels, which resemble traditional African huts and offer some of the best photo opportunities. You’ll also visit Lisbon Falls, the area’s tallest waterfall at 92 metres. You’ll return to the lodge by 4 pm with time to relax, take a swim, and unwind before dinner.

Day 4

Morning safari

Start your day with an exhilarating early morning safari in Kruger National Park, heading out before sunrise to catch predators during their most active hours. With over 500 bird species and 148 mammal species, each safari promises a unique experience, as no two journeys are ever the same. Your knowledgeable guide will focus on exploring new areas and spotting creatures not yet seen, ensuring a fresh adventure every time. Thanks to Kruger's extensive network of roads, guides can explore different parts of the park in various seasons, providing opportunities to witness diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.

By around 12:00 pm, you'll return to the lodge, where a free afternoon awaits. You can choose to relax by the pool, embark on scenic hikes around the lodges, observe local wildlife, or simply soak in the beautiful African weather. Enjoy a delightful light lunch, and as the day winds down, savour a delicious dinner prepared by the lodge.

Begin your final day in Kruger National Park with an exhilarating pre-dawn safari, with a packed breakfast for a morning full of adventure. This is the prime time to catch lions and leopards in action as these predators are most active in the early hours. Your guide will focus on finding creatures and exploring areas not covered in previous safaris, offering new sights and experiences.

After a brief stop for coffee and breakfast at one of the rest camps or picnic areas, you'll continue your safari before returning to the lodge around noon. Here, you'll bid farewell to your guide and have time to freshen up before heading back to Johannesburg. The shuttle will pick you up around 12:30 pm, and you'll arrive at the Johannesburg OR Tambo shuttle station and nearby lodges between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Please note the arrival time for your outbound flights.
