Day 1
Fly to the Delta
Fly to the Delta
Touch down in Maun and connect onto a light aircraft flight into the remote NG/29 concession, one of the Delta’s wildest and least explored corners. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of winding channels, palm islands, and open plains teeming with life. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to Mokolwane Camp with a short game drive en route—keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and herds of red lechwe moving through the floodplains. After settling into your elevated tented room, head out on your first afternoon game drive in search of resident lions, elusive leopards, and the area’s thriving population of African wild dogs. Return to camp for a fireside dinner and the sounds of the bush all around you.

Day 2
Game Viewing Bonanza
Game Viewing Bonanza
Today offers a full immersion into this predator-rich wilderness. Head out early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active—this area is particularly known for its excellent sightings of wild dogs, often seen hunting in the golden light. Large breeding herds of elephants frequent the area, while wattled cranes and other rare birdlife delight birders. The mixed habitats of woodland, open plains, and seasonal floodplains also support healthy populations of buffalo, zebra, kudu, and tsessebe, often drawing in predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, and even the occasional serval. After a siesta during the heat of the day, venture out again in the late afternoon and enjoy a sundowner overlooking the bush.
During season when water level permits, you can experience a mokoro safari. It is also possible to enjoy night game drives.
