This compact savannah park is home to three of the Big Five—buffaloes, leopards, and hippos—as well as zebras, impalas, topis, and the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch with views of the park’s open plains.
In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds including pelicans and the rare shoebill stork. As the sun sets, head out on a guided nature walk for close-up encounters with wildlife like warthogs and antelopes before returning to your lodge for a hearty dinner and overnight stay.
