Day 2
Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After a short briefing in the morning in your hotel in Arusha which will be the pickup point, you will head off in the direction of the Tarangire National Park. The park with its savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and lagoons is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge. You spend the following day inside the park on game drives.
Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. However, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
After an extensive game drive, you will head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The entirety of today is set for a full day game driving in Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but is best known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions.
After an extensive game drive, you will head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Begin an exhilarating journey after breakfast, exploring the Serengeti on an en-route game drive. Spot wildlife before heading to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its dense animal population, the crater offers unmatched game viewing. Descend into the crater and witness wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and over 500 bird species. Keep an eye out for the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue the afternoon exploration.
Later, head to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and an overnight.
