Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel, and after being introduced to your guide and chef, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (a 2-hour drive), famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. This provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of animals (mostly predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are harder to spot), as well as herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc.), which are plentiful to see through the park.
Later on, you will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch, but there is nothing to worry about.
After the tour, you will head to your lodge in Mto Wa Mbu.

These animals are in a strategic partnership for their survival.
Your focus will be on the Seronera (the centre of the Serengeti).
You'll arrive in the late afternoon. After taking your lunch, you will go on a game drive in Seronera (the center of Serengeti) until late evening. You will experience the sunset in Serengeti. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators. This includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds can usually be seen here.
In the late afternoon, you'll transfer to Arusha to your hotel.
