The drive offers spectacular scenery, including glimpses of active and dormant volcanoes, like Ol Doinyo Lengai in the distance. Once you arrive at Lake Natron, grab a quick lunch and relax. In the afternoon, take a guided walk to the lake’s edge to see thousands of flamingos and other birdlife that call this place home. You’ll reach the top by sunrise and enjoy incredible views of Lake Natron, the Rift Valley, and volcanic vents. After coming back down, you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast at camp. If climbing isn’t your thing, you can opt for a short morning hike to the nearby Engaresero Waterfalls, a refreshing walk through a narrow gorge leading to a natural pool.
