Departing from Kampala, we’ll journey through lush jungles and papyrus-lined wetlands of the Nile Delta. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch before continuing toward Kibale National Park, nestled near the majestic Rwenzori Mountains—famously known as the "Mountains of the Moon." In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through the crater lakes region, taking in the stunning landscapes and engaging with the local culture.

Day 2

Our day begins early with breakfast, followed by an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park, home to around 500 chimpanzees. Before heading into the forest, you'll receive a briefing on trekking guidelines. As you venture through the dense jungle, your guide will share fascinating insights about the chimpanzees, other primates, and the diverse plant and animal life—turning the trek into a rich and immersive experience.
Kibale’s lush rainforest, spanning 795 square kilometers, is considered the best place in Africa to see chimpanzees in the wild. The chimps, often seen feasting on fig tree fruits, have been habituated to human presence since 1992. The park is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, especially its high concentration of primates.
In the afternoon, we’ll head south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic landscapes and the chance to spot wildlife along the way. Our day ends with a relaxing evening and dinner near Bwindi.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, we'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family assigned to your group. Guided by experienced trackers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority, we’ll hike through thick rainforest and bamboo-covered slopes in search of these incredible mountain gorillas.
The terrain can be challenging at times, but the moment you lock eyes with a majestic silverback or watch a gorilla family up close, every step becomes worthwhile. A packed lunch will be provided, as the experience often stretches into the early afternoon.
Known for its stunning views and safe, bilharzia-free waters, Lake Bunyonyi offers a peaceful retreat. You can enjoy optional activities such as canoeing, swimming, hiking along island trails, community visits, and bird watching.

Day 4

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head out for a guided canoe ride on the tranquil waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Later, begin your journey toward the Rwanda border and continue on to Kigali. Along the way, enjoy scenic views and reflect on the unforgettable experience of encountering the rare mountain gorillas. Lunch will be provided en route, with arrival in Kigali expected by late evening. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible adventure in the Pearl of Africa.
