Day 1

Mwanza to Serengeti National park

Mwanza to Serengeti National park

Your journey begins in Mwanza, a city located on the southern shore of Lake Victoria. After meeting your guide, you will embark on a scenic drive to the Serengeti National Park.

Within 2 hours you will be at the western Ndabaka Entrance of the Serengeti. You will start spotting wildlife as soon as you enter! This area is renowned for the Grumeti river, the easiest way to spot some of the biggest Nile Crocodiles in the Serengeti. You will come across resident wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and an abundance of predators like lions and cheetahs.

You will be provided with packed lunch boxes that you can enjoy under a tree whilst enjoying the views.

As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you'll drive to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night's rest, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

Today we journey deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, uncovering not only its breathtaking landscapes but also the rich history behind this world-famous national park.

Alongside our game drives, we’ll visit the Seronera Visitor Center around lunchtime — a gateway to understanding the Serengeti’s incredible biodiversity. Here, we will explore fascinating exhibits, and short guided walks around the campus.

The center’s educational displays reveal the park’s formation, conservation efforts, and the wonders of the Great Migration, the Big Five, and the importance of preserving the Serengeti’s fragile ecosystem.

After the tour we will enjoy our lunch boxes at the designated picnic spots as we watch the birds and resident rock hyraxes in their own world.

We will then carry on our game drive as the afternoon sun sets and animals become more active. We will retreat back to camp for an evening dinner and stories around the bonfire.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro highlands

Serengeti to Ngorongoro highlands

We will begin the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, making the most of your final hours in this extraordinary landscape and enjoying wildlife sightings as the plains come alive in the early light.

In the late morning, we will stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, the crossing point into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This scenic viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramas of the Serengeti's endless plains. The journey continues towards the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, where cooler air and rolling green hills provide a refreshing change of scenery.

On the way, we will visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum, a fascinating site showcasing the origins of humankind, where you’ll learn about early human fossils and ancient tools discovered in the “Cradle of Mankind.” We will enjoy our lunch as we admire the site's excavations.

We will retreat to the lodge for a restful evening and a chilly night's sleep.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Today’s adventure takes us into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. We will descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a full day of game viewing surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife — from lions and elephants to rhinos and flocks of flamingos.

Around midday, we will enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, where we can relax and watch hippos wallow just a few meters away.

In the afternoon, we will continue exploring the crater floor before ascending its lush walls and heading towards the Lake Manyara escarpment.

Here, we will unwind with a refreshing swim with a lodge that we think offers the best view of Lake Manyara and sunset views over the Rift Valley — the perfect way to end an unforgettable day on safari.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Today is all about exploring the beauty and diversity of Lake Manyara National Park.

We will begin the morning short game drive deeper into the park and then enjoy a one to two-hour canoeing adventure on the lake, gliding quietly across the water as you take in panoramic views of the escarpment and spot flamingos, hippos, and other wildlife along the shoreline.

Afterward, We will be welcomed to our new camp and enjoy a hot lunch and some downtime at camp, relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

In the late afternoon, stretch our legs with a walking safari around camp, perfect for spotting some of the park’s colorful bird species. This walk can be substituted with a game drive for the rest of the day.

Paid Optional:
As night falls, set out on an exciting two-hour night game drive, discovering the park’s nocturnal side before returning to camp around 9:30 PM to unwind under the starlit African sky.

Day 6

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we depart Lake Manyara and make our way to the scenic Tarangire National Park, a land of towering baobab trees and vast savannahs. The journey offers changing landscapes and glimpses of rural Tanzanian life along the way.

We will stop at a nearby Masaai village to experience authentic Masaai lifestyle and how they have survived and coexisted with the wildlife over the years. This will give is a chance to buy colorful souvenir gifts and give back to the local masaai community.

Upon entering the park, enjoy a game drive en route to camp, where herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and countless antelope roam freely. Tarangire is known for its dense wildlife and picturesque river valley, which attracts animals throughout the year. We will enjoy a bush lunch on the banks of the Tarangire river looking out for any animals that come for a drink.

We will continue with our game drive and arrive at our camp for a peaceful night in the wild.

Day 7

Tarangire to Arusha

Tarangire to Arusha

This is the last day of the safari. You will have a warm breakfast in the morning and proceed to stretch our legs with a walking safari around camp, perfect for spotting some of the park’s colorful bird species and a closer look at Baobab trees.

You can otherwise choose to have a lazy morning and relax at the lodge until lunch time. After a hot lunch, We would then depart for a short game drive towards the exit gate of the park.

This schedule of the day can be adjusted if you will be catching a flight on the same day from Arusha/ Kilimanjaro.
