Khwai Airstrip
Your guide will meet you at the Khwai Airstrip within the Khwai Concession upon arrival (Maun airport transfer options to Khwai are excluded and will be provided upon request). After a quick orientation and safety briefing, you will enjoy a game drive en route to the campsite.
On arrival, you'll be greeted with refreshments and shown to your large and luxurious 3-sectioned tent. Each tent includes a private verandah, separate bedroom, and bathroom area with flushing toilet, bucket shower (heated on demand), and hand basins. Bedrooms feature double beds with plush mattresses, pillows, and linens, as well as storage chests and closets with hangers. Daily housekeeping and laundry are included.

Day 2
Safari at Your Own Pace
Safari at Your Own Pace
Enjoy a full day of safari activities at your own pace. The more time you spend in the bush, the more opportunities nature has to delight you with something extraordinary. You ultimately set the pace of the safari, but most guests choose all-day game drives where they leave camp at sunrise and remain out until sunset. Instead of only a few hours each day in the bush, you may enjoy 12 to 13 hours!
We can either return to camp for lunch or choose an optimal location in the bush for lunch with stellar views and wildlife sightings. Guests enjoy full gourmet meals throughout the safari prepared by a dedicated chef using a wood-burning stovetop and oven for full-range cooking. Alternative menus for gluten-free, vegan, religious, and other dietary restrictions or sensitivities are available on request.

Day 3
Environmentally Responsible Safari
Environmentally Responsible Safari
You'll return to the same temporary campsite each day, which is set up to ensure minimal environmental impact, leaving only footprints behind on departure.
The camp is 100% solar-powered and features a battery for guest use that can fully charge up to 40 mobile phones on a single charge. All guests are provided with a recycled plastic water bottle (complete with a straw). Still water is provided by a portable water filter to provide safe and delicious drinking water and reduce plastic bottle waste.
For added convenience, each of the two open-sided Toyota Land Cruiser safari vehicles is equipped with USB ports for device charging, refrigerators to keep drinks cold all day, and adjustable armrest camera mounts to support serious photography. A portable toilet is included for the disabled, the elderly, and any guest who may have challenges squatting in the bush. Hooded ponchos with warm flannel lining and thick blankets are provided for chilly morning and night game drives.
