Upon arrival we will pick you from airport and take you to a hotel in Arusha. Next morning our Wild Horizon Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is approximately a 2 hour journey on good tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. Known for its large elephant herds, the park offers great opportunities to observe these magnificent animals congregating by the river.
Additionally, you may encounter giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with various predators such as lions and leopards often in the vicinity. Tarangire is also home to the highest diversity of bird species. You will find ancient baobab trees throughout the park, some of which are over a thousand years old. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll start heading towards the Ngorongoro gate for about 1 hour. You'll stop at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint, where you’ll get panoramic views of the crater and the surrounding area. It’s a great photo and stretching opportunity!
Transit through Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park for about 3 hours. After picnic lunch in Ngorongoro highlands you'll enter the Serengeti and start your afternoon game drive. This world-famous park is home to the Big Five and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. You'll spend the afternoon exploring the Serengeti's vast plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, and more.
You'll enjoy a sunset game drive as you head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
We are flexible to fly you into Serengeti and change your accommodation.

Day 3

You will start your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park when the wildlife is most active. You can choose to go for a sunrise game drive or a balloon ride (at an extra fee). Not only that, but you might catch predators on the hunt, witness the great migration if timed right, or spot animals like elephants, giraffes, and hyenas roaming the plains.
You'll spend the rest of the day visiting the parts of Serengeti that offer the most attractions during your visit.

Day 4

Wake up early and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee before setting off for an unforgettable sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park. The early morning is a magical time for wildlife viewing, with animals becoming active as the sun rises over the plains.
After the game drive, continue with a transfer game drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying more wildlife and scenic landscapes along the way.
You may also visit a Maasai village at an additional cost to meet the local community and learn about their traditions, culture, and traditional way of life.
Lunch will be served at the Serengeti exit gate before continuing to Karatu. Arrive at your accommodation in the late afternoon, where you can relax and unwind after a magical Serengeti experience. Later, enjoy dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast, you'll start heading into the Ngorongoro Crater with your packed picnic lunch. You'll descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater and explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within.
In the Ngorongoro Crater, it is possible to see all the African Big Five among the vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species.
After an extensive game drive, you will head back to your accomodation for dinner and overnight stay.

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Your final destination on this epic safari! Manyara is a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.
After your game drive, you will be dropped off at a place of your choosing such as Arusha (your hotel), Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with Wild Horizon Safari!
