Transfer from Victoria Falls to Tshakabika Camp in Hwange National Park

We collect our guests in Victoria Falls at around 9:00am, then begin our journey with a scenic road transfer through Hwange National Park, where game viewing starts from the moment we enter. Along the way, we pause for a picnic lunch in the park and take comfort breaks as needed. We arrive at our comfortable camp by mid-afternoon, with time to settle in and take in the stunning view over a natural spring. This private waterhole draws a variety of wildlife, offering incredible sightings right from camp. During our stay, we explore the area through guided walks and game drives.

Tshakabika Private Concession in Hwange National Park

We are up early to explore this incredible area. A natural warm spring feeds into the Tshakabika River, creating a permanent water source that attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Elephants, giraffes, kudu, impala, and warthogs are regular visitors, while predators like leopards, lions, smaller cats, and wild dogs are also known to roam the area. We take guided walks and game drives to experience the full richness of this remote wilderness.

There are many more exciting places to explore in this vast wilderness. Tshontanda waterhole is just a short drive from camp and offers excellent views, as well as regular wildlife sightings, when animals gather to drink. Further up the Gubombiri River, even more untouched terrain awaits. Remote, wild and completely ours to discover.

Transfer Back to Victoria Falls

After a leisurely breakfast, we pack up and begin our road transfer back to Victoria Falls. This tour can easily be extended or combined with other camps in our portfolio for a longer adventure. Hwange is a vast and diverse park with so much more to experience, and the possibilities are endless.
