Day 2

Today you journey toward the legendary Serengeti, enjoying a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro highlands before descending into the vast plains. En route and within the park, you’ll enjoy game drives that offer the chance to see big cats, herds of wildebeest and zebras, elephants, and more. The Serengeti’s wide horizons and abundant wildlife create a truly cinematic safari experience. You’ll overnight inside the park for the full Serengeti immersion.

Day 3

Spend the entire day exploring the heart of the Serengeti, following wildlife activity with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration in motion, including dramatic river crossings or mass calving events. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often spotted here, along with hyenas, jackals, and a variety of antelope. The ever-changing scenery and wildlife encounters make for an unforgettable day on the plains.

Day 4
Serengeti to Ndutu Area
Serengeti to Ndutu Area
After breakfast, you travel south to the Ndutu region, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area but ecologically part of the southern Serengeti. During the calving season (typically December to March), this area is alive with wildebeest giving birth, which in turn attracts predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The open terrain and the ability to go off-road make Ndutu one of the best places for close wildlife encounters and predator sightings.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha/Kilimanjaro
Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Arusha/Kilimanjaro
On your final day, you descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including the rare black rhino, large lion prides, and grazing herds of buffalo and zebra. The crater’s unique landscape of open grassland, forest, and soda lake provides excellent game viewing year-round. After a picnic lunch, you begin your drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, bringing your incredible safari to a close.
