1-Day Golden Monkey Encounter in Volcanoes National Park

Your day begins with a 4:30 AM pick-up from your Kigali hotel and a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park. After registration and a pre-trek briefing, begin your Golden Monkey Trekking adventure in the bamboo forest. Enjoy up to one hour observing these playful and endangered primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund for a guided tour highlighting gorilla conservation, research, and Dian Fossey’s legacy. After lunch, drive back to Kigali and drop off at your hotel.
