Arusha – Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and driven to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. After entering the park, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush. You’ll spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge inside or near the park for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day in Tarangire National Park

Spend a full day exploring different areas of the park with morning and afternoon game drives. Tarangire’s ecosystem supports a diverse range of animals and provides a quieter, less-crowded safari experience. Watch for leopards resting in acacia trees or cheetahs scanning the plains. During the dry season, the Tarangire River acts as a magnet for wildlife, offering exceptional game viewing. Return to your lodge in the evening for a relaxed dinne.

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands and rural villages. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at your lodge perched on the crater rim with sweeping views of the caldera. Optional nature walks or cultural visits to a nearby Maasai village can be arranged. Prepare for an early start the following day for a descent into the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor before ascending and beginning your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
