Day 1

Nairobi To Amboseli National Park

Upon landing at JKIA Airport you will be met by an Alistar Expeditions representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari and then drive you to Amboseli National Park; this is the best park to get up-close to free-ranging elephant and other wildlife, have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and get the best snapshots of the amazing African sunsets and sunrises. The ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at little Amanya Camp in time for lunch. After lunch you will take off on an afternoon game drive and later drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Today the program is very flexible; you have two options to choose from:

Option one: You may opt to have an early morning game drive, return for a hot breakfast, freshen up and spend the rest of the midmorning at leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive. Finally, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Option two: You may have an early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive with packed lunch. Return to the camp for dinner and turn in for the night.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride to spot hippos and birdlife or take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island among giraffes and antelopes. For the more adventurous, there’s an option to visit Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can hike or cycle through dramatic gorges and towering cliffs while spotting wildlife in a unique, active setting.

Day 4

After breakfast, you can depart Lake Naivasha late morning for a short drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving by midday and check-in at Buraha Zenoni Hotel&Resort. Known for its picturesque lake, acacia woodlands, and escarpment views, the park is a sanctuary for black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and a variety of bird species. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, leopards, buffaloes, and flamingos (seasonal), then settle in for an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

After breakfast you will check-out and depart for Maasai Mara, National Reserve; one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, where you will have the opportunity to see the “Big 5” and experience the annual Wildebeest Migration. Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park, the Maasai Mara forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing ecosystem. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lion, leopard and cheetah. You will arrive in time for lunch at Flair camp Experiences. After lunch you will take part in an evening game drive; returning later for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

Alternative 1:
Morning breakfast and then exit with packed lunch for a full day game drive at the park in search of the Wildebeest migrations and the Big 5. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Alternative 2:
Choose a morning Balloon ride in the early morning where you will be picked up from your camp and transferred you to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: After the ride, you will be given a certificate and have a bush breakfast. Afterwards, you will drive back to the camp for rest and game drives later on.

Alternative 3:
Have an early morning Game drive, Return for breakfast, Freshen up and then Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the poolspend the rest of evening, More game drives in the evening in search of more animals and finally dinner and overnight at the camp.

Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward journey back home, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari.
