Upon reaching Dar es Salaam, another dedicated driver will be ready to continue your journey, embarking on a scenic 3-hour drive along the well-maintained Kisarawe road. This road provides a direct route to the magnificent Nyerere National Park, Upon your arrival at Nyerere National Park, you will be warmly welcomed and promptly transferred to your pre-arranged accommodation. As the afternoon approaches, specifically around 16:00, the real excitement begins. You will embark on a captivating boat safari on the majestic Rufiji River, a waterway renowned as East Africa's largest and longest river, stretching approximately 600 kilometers in length. Spot different species of birds and animals favorable in water areas.

Game Drive & Fly Out Directly To Zanzibar

Your full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve) starts at 7:30 AM with pickup by professional drivers and guides from your camp or lodge.

The day offers diverse wildlife viewing, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and various bird species, amidst scenic wetlands, grasslands, acacia forests, and distant mountain vistas.

A packed lunch and rest period will be provided. The game drive concludes around 3:45 PM, followed by transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your 4:00 PM flight to Zanzibar.
