Arrival at the 4 Star Safari Plains Game Lodge

2-hour 30minute drive from Johannesburg.

12:00 – 12:30 pm – Arrival at Safari Plains.
You'll arrive slightly early to enjoy your lunch.

1:30 – 2:00 pm– Check-In to Your Room
You'll settle into your eco-friendly tented suite and freshen up for the afternoon game drive.

Afternoon Game Drive:
Winter: Game drives depart at 3:30pm. Summer: Game drives depart at 4:30pm.
You'll depart on your first open-vehicle safari led by experienced rangers. You'll spot elephants, rhinos, lions, and more.

7:00 – 9:00 pm– Dinner at the Lodge
You'll indulge in a gourmet dinner in the restaurant.

9:00 pm onwards – Evening at Leisure
You'll enjoy a nightcap at the bar, relax by the fireplace, or do some quiet stargazing.

Early morning game drive:
Winter: Game drives depart at 6:30am. Summer: Game drives depart at 5:30am.
You'll depart on your open-vehicle safari led by experienced rangers. You'll possibly spot elephants, rhinos, lions, and more.

From 7:00am, breakfast will be served.
You'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before packing up.

9:30am – 10:00am – Return to your suite, you'll freshen up and prepare for check-out.

10:00am – Check-Out & Departure
You'll begin your drive back to Johannesburg or your onward destination.
