Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where a Nandi Adventures representative will meet you. Depending on arrival time, you’ll be transferred to a guesthouse in the leafy suburbs of Entebbe for a relaxed first night. The moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived: this is when your Ugandan safari begins. We’re thrilled to welcome you to Uganda and to be part of your journey through this incredible country. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll go through immigration and baggage claim. Once you exit the arrivals area, look out for our Nandi Adventures representative, who will be holding a sign with your name. They will introduce themselves and assist you with anything you need before transferring you comfortably to your hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track rhinos on foot. Accompanied by expert rangers, walk through the savannah bush to observe these incredible creatures up close.
After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the top of the falls for a dramatic view of the Nile crashing through a narrow gorge. Your lodge sits inside the park, offering your first taste of Uganda’s big game. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest park and has the uniqueness having the Nile River divide into northern and southern sectors.

Day 3

Set out early on a game drive across the park’s northern circuit. Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, leopards, Rothschild giraffes, hartebeests, and more. This is one of Uganda’s top game-viewing areas.
In the afternoon, enjoy a shared boat cruise up the Nile towards the base of the falls. Look for hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and elephants cooling off near the riverbanks, as well as an incredible range of birdlife.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. The journey takes you along the edge of the Great Western Rift Valley, then through rolling green hills, lush tea plantations, and charming rural villages, providing your first glimpse of Uganda’s natural beauty. Keep your eyes open for glimpses of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the "Mountains of the Moon," towering in the distance. Arriving at the lodge, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of nature and the sounds of the forest. Take the afternoon to relax, perhaps exploring the forest around the lodge or visiting the local community to get a feel of local life.

Kibale National Park is one of East Africa’s most important chimp strongholds. This forested park is home to roughly 1,000 of these charismatic apes, the largest population in the region, and the chances of a close-up sighting are excellent.
Today you will be exploring Kibale National Park fondly known as the "Primates Capital". This park has 13 primate species - the chimpanzees being the most sought after.
Other wildlife you might encounter in Kibale includes monkeys such as Uganda mangabey, Uganda red colobus and red-tailed monkey, and an astounding 370 bird species.
After lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will take a safari cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This boat safari brings you close to the wildlife and birds of the park.

Today, your journey begins with a game drive in the park. You also have the optional lion tracking experience, joining researchers as they monitor the park’s big cats via radio collar. After the game drive, continue with a scenic road transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This isn’t just a transfer—it’s a window into Uganda’s soul. As you travel through rolling hills, tea plantations, terraced farms, and quiet rural villages, you’ll experience a side of Uganda that many visitors never see.
The drive unfolds like a story—lush green valleys, children waving from the roadside, clouds hanging over distant ridges. We’ll take breaks along the way, including a stop to stretch your legs or capture the views through your lens. It’s a chance to slow down, take it all in, and connect with the rhythm of the land.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Africa’s most biologically rich rainforests, having flourished for over 25,000 years.

Today marks a defining moment in your Ugandan safari adventure: the unforgettable experience of tracking mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Once you’re assigned a group, your trek into the forest begins — the duration varies depending on the gorilla family’s location. When you finally come face to face with a gorilla family—watching them feed, play, rest, or simply meet your gaze—it’s a moment that defies words. You’ll spend up to one hour in their presence, observing their gentle behavior and complex social dynamics under the watchful eye of your guide, who will share insights into their lives and conservation.
Afterwards, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a peaceful and scenic lake nestled among terraced hills.

Today, your guide—who has been with you every step of the way—will drive you from Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe International Airport on an 8 hour trip. You will have breaks along the way for lunch and to stretch, buy souvenirs at the equator or a break you may call for. This trip also has the option of using the Kigali International Airport in Rwanda if you so wish. This is a shorter trip of about 3 hours. Safe travels!
