1-Day Excursion to Murchison Falls National Park

Depart from Masindi in a 4x4 safari vehicle with your professional driver-guide and drive to Murchison via Kichumbanyobo Gate while enjoying scenic views of Budongo forest and spot primates or birds along the way.

Upon arrival, we shall cross the Nile (via bridge or ferry) to the northern savannah to explore the Buligi or Delta game tracks, where you're likely to see: Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and warthogs, abundant bird life including secretary birds, Abyssinian ground hornbills, and more.

Walk to the dramatic top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge and plunges 43 meters below, enjoy stunning photo opportunities and hear the thunderous roar of the falls with our packed picnic lunch at the falls area.
Later take a 2-hour boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants on the riverbanks. Exit the park via the same gate and enjoy a relaxed drive back.
