Leaving Bwindi behind, you’ll journey across the savannah and woodlands of Queen Elizabeth National Park—a stretch of wild land where elephants, buffalo, and antelope roam freely. Your drive is part game drive, part scenic safari, with surprises at every turn. Midday, arrive at the Kazinga Channel and enjoy a peaceful boat cruise. Watch hippos bob alongside your vessel and crocodiles bask on the riverbanks while herons and kingfishers fill the skies.
After lunch and your river safari, you’ll continue to Kibale Forest, arriving at your forest lodge by evening. As the sun dips behind the trees, the forest hums with life. After a late breakfast and freshening up, it’s time to begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive offers time to reflect on your rare primate encounters and the untouched beauty of Uganda. Upon arrival, you’ll check in for a restful night in preparation for your flight to Kenya and the next chapter of your African safari.

This morning, board your flight from Entebbe to Nairobi, Kenya’s dynamic capital and gateway to some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and enjoy some well-deserved rest.
The next day, your Kenyan safari begins in unforgettable fashion with an early game drive through Nairobi National Park—the only national park located within a capital city. With luck, you may spot lions, giraffes, and even rhinos as the city skyline shimmers in the distance. Mid-morning, head to the Sheldrick Elephant Nursery to meet rescued baby elephants and learn about their conservation journey. Afterward, enjoy a traditional Kenyan lunch and browse Maasai markets for unique handmade crafts. Your afternoon includes visits to the Nairobi Giraffe Centre and the Kobe Bead Centre—two stops that blend conservation, education, and artistry. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening and prepare for the wild open plains of the Mara.

Depart early for the Masai Mara, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley on your way to Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge before heading out on your first afternoon game drive across the golden plains of the Mara—home to lions, leopards, elephants, and the Great Migration (in season).
Spend the next two days immersed in wildlife. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and other iconic species. Optional activities include a visit to a traditional Maasai village to learn about their way of life or a sunrise hot air balloon safari floating above the savannah, followed by champagne breakfast.
