Nairobi to Amboseli

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Athi Plains and the Maasai countryside to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After a short rest, embark on an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its large herds of free-roaming elephants. You’ll also have a chance to spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds in the swampy areas and open plains. As the sun sets behind the majestic Kilimanjaro, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Start your day with an early morning breakfast, then head out for a game drive as the park comes alive with activity. This is the best time to spot predators before they retreat from the heat. Explore the Observation Hill for panoramic views of Amboseli’s plains and marshes dotted with animals. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated scenic spot within the park. After lunch, exit the park and begin your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening with wonderful memories of your short but unforgettable safari.
